Wireless system software for AT&T's AUTOPLEX?System 1000.is developed under a formal development methodology consisting of (1) Requirements, (2) Design, (3) Implementation, (4) Testing,and(5)Field application phases.Throughout the software development cycle, in-process metrics are collected and tracked to monitor the Progress of the development.This paper describes the features of AT&T's wireless software development methodology.
