摘要

The aftertreatment system using a Lean NO{sub}x Trap catalyst and a DPF was adapted to a light duty diesel engine for commercial vehicle. We carried out transient mode emission tests with this system. As a result, we comprehended characteristics of the Lean NO{sub}x Trap catalyst and problems on transient mode operation. The investigation of these phenomena under transient condition and the improvement of the system are described in this paper.
