The effect of alternating magnetic fields, from 20 to 200 mHz and up to 250 mT in the horizontal direction with a symmetrical or asymmetrical rectangular waveform, on the mass transfer rate during diffusion-controlled electrolysis was experimentally investigated for a K_3Fe(CN)_6-K_4Fe(CN)_6 system. The experiments were performed using inclined cylindrical Pt cathodes on a plane parallel to the magnetic field direction.
