Dendrimers are a new class of macromolecules characterized by their tree-like generational structure.Recently,the design,synthesis,and functional chemistry of these dendrimers have attracted increasing attention.One of the interesting features of dendrimers is that their shape can be modeled and controlled by parameters related to their non-covalent interactions with their surrounding environment including steric and dipole factors.
