摘要

Logic of Competition in an international construction market is defined in terms of eight Porterian arenas connected through the dual routes of procurement vis-a-vis marketing The focus is on two of these arenas. Arena of Wholes involves foreign contractors and CM consultants realizing construction objects as wholes. Success is based on dual management of marketing and procurement, i.e. to manage the total scopes (incl. financing) and the first stages of the life-cycles of objects. Arena of Parts involves foreign designers and subcontractors realizing objects as parts. Success is based on competences to master the specialized scopes of their partial contracts.
