摘要

The fundamentals of Computed Radiography (CR) are well established (ASTM E2007 and E2033), and soon methods for classification and qualification will be formalized and published. However, there are no formal methods for evaluating the full range of the radiographic performance characteristics for a CR system. Fundamental to this evaluation is the determination of the limits of the systems' performance envelope, and those areas within the envelope that offer optimum radiographic performance. This paper will present a variety of methods used to make such a determination, and will also discuss the qualification and long-term monitoring of CR systems.
