Mineralogic, fluid inclusion and _(14)C dating from Karaha-Telaga-Bodas suggest that geothermal systems may evolve much more rapidly than generally thought. In this paper time-temperature-composition histories from the central and southern part of the field are compared. The results indicate that temperatures in the central part of the field decreased faster than in the south and that the central area also experienced greater influx of meteoric water.
