Poly (m-phenylene isophthalamide) (Nomex) and Poly(p-phenylene terephthalamide) (Kevlar)are so-called high-performance fibers possessing superior mechanical properties, fire resistance, and excellent thermal, chemical and oxidative stabilities. They fibers have found wide usages in many demanding areas, particularly in clothing materials with special functions, such as uniforms for firefighters and military personal.1 . Recently, their applications in carpets, upholstery fabrics, and some medical purposes have also attracted more and more attentions 2 .
