The fabrication of nano-scale devices is an important challenge in polymer-based advanced materials. It first relies on the development of new controlled synthetic routes for the precise design of macromolecules with specific properties that can be of interest for industrial and technological applications.1-6 For instance, intense research activity has been recently devoted to the synthesis of highly branched and hyperbranched macromolecules with star-, comb-like and dendritic architectures.
