Random propylene copolymers with low ethylene content are commercially important materials due to their attractive properties, such as improved clarity, flexibility, toughness, and melt flow rate [1]. The introduction of small amount of ethylene units in the macromolecular chain of isotactic polypropylene decreases the length of isotactic segments leading to lower melting temperature.
