Arborescent (randomly branched, tree-like) polyisobutylenepolystyrene (PIB-PSt) block copolymers are relatively new materials [1,2]. With approx 30 wt% PSt content they exhibit thermoplastic elastomeric (TPE) properties, i.e., rubber-like characteristics at room temperature with thermally labile 'crosslinks' so they can be processed as plastics [3].
