摘要

In this inspect ion, the standard value of wind velocity was set individually in each type of Biological Safety Cabinet. Each value was originally set by each manufacturer. These values were based on results of the microbiological examinations in BSC and past accumulation data. In order to use BSC safely it is important to keep the wind velocity within the standard value. The decrease of wind velocity is caused by the clogging of HEPA filter. The maintenance plan matched to the frequency of inspection is necessary. It seems that the handling of the lowest value of standard wind velocity is important.
