摘要

Ventilation is important to remove viable particles from indoor environments. However, stagnation and short-circuit in the airflow sometimes decrease ventilation performance. In this work, various types of air supply methods were studied using the CFD technique. As the result, it was found that the variable air supply, which changes direction of supply airflow or which provides intermittent air supply, improves ventilation performance rather than adopting steady air supply. Authors thought the reason was that the unsteady airflow by the variable air supply mixes air in the room more effectively.
