摘要

The ability to compensate errors in a machining process could significantly improve the accuracy of machined parts. Owing to the difficulties associated with the cost, time and complexity of the existing methods of error measurement and compensation, on-machine probing is gaining ground as an efficient and quick method of control in machining processes. This paper presents an experimental investigation to determine the effect of the machining error sources and their compensation on a CNC machine tool.
