摘要

The H2O2-enhanced IMA process, in which elemental iron (Fe~0) reacts with molecular oxygen (O2) in the presence of H2O2, is able to effectively remove the organics in recalcitrant wastewaters through oxidation and absorption/coagulation over a wide pH range. In this study, the oxidative mechanism of the enhanced IMA treatment at neutral-weak basic pH, the role of aeration and kinetics of organics’ removal from municipal landfill leachate under various operational conditions were investigated.
