Land warfare in the information ages is a complex system, it has many kinds of complexity features that the conventional simulation methods are too simple and lack the spatial degrees of freedom to model. Guided by the complexity adaptive system (CAS) theory, we researched the complexity characteristics of the modern land warfare carefully; and according to these conclusions, we broke through the bondage of the ullage theories in the modeling idea, redesigned the primary makeup units, the action mechanism and the alternating rules of the members, and put forward a new framework of the simulation system of land warfare finally.
