摘要

MgO-Al_2O_3 ceramics as a Cr-free refractor, for gasification melting furnace were prepared from two kinds of processes. The sintered bodies prepared from an organic-Al-compound-achieved a high density even at lower temperatures as compared with the products of a conventional solid-phase reaction. High corrosion resistance is expected in these dense sintered bodies.
