The influence of non-metallic inclusion on mechanical property and performance of the steel is unneglectable. Application of inclusions automatic analyzer and other means found that, the strong ladle slag oxidation and the weak ability of tundish inclusions removing were the main reasons. A new converter final slag modifier and a new-style casting tundish filter have been developed. Practice indicated that the inclusion and steel cleanliness of slab were improved, large inclusion more than 30um was obviously reduced. The T[O] was no more than 20ppm. the average inclusion above 50um by bulk sample electrolysis reduced to below 3.0 mg/10kg.
