摘要

Mechanochemical activation is a promising environment-friendly way for catalysts synthesis to provide high-dispersed active metal state and accessibility for organic substrates. A catalytic method of synthesis of commercially valuable 1,2-propanediol over the copper-containing catalysts is in progress instead of currently petroleum-based one where promising starting material is a refined lactic acid obtained by fermentation of crude biomass.
