It is often said that we are living in an information society and information technology (IT) is a normal part of life in many fields. But IT is not used effectively in health care. The purpose of this study was to survey what kind of Internet-based health services and related electronic services are offered to clients by the web-pages of health care organizations in Finland. Internet-based health services are defined as health services through the net. Electronic services are usually meant to use as web services which requires always the identification of users.
