摘要

The object of this research was to declare the nurses views about their professional missions and tasks in Kashan Medical University. In a descriptive study, the 32 nurses interviewed and later their complementary views were gathered by open ended questionnaire. Some questions were: What are the missions of the Nursing? What are your tasks in your working environment? Thirty two nurses took part in this research. The mean age was 30.4 years and the mean work experience was 8,6 years. The nurses stated 18 missions the frequent missions were health improvement, helping to heal and giving information to society. The most frequent mentioned tasks were: patients, education, basic and primary caring like cleaning and helping in nutrition, team work, performing medical orders and management of the ward. The nurses interviewed had clear and acceptable views about nursing missions and tasks.
