Experiments were carried out for the stabilization of hazardous waste in Treatment Storage Disposal Facility (TSDF) and Engineered landfill site. The hazardous wastes chosen for the experimental study is metallic waste. The types of stabilization adapted for the metallic waste is cement based stabilization. The characterizations of the metallic waste before and after stabilization process were studied. In order to dump the stabilized waste of 11666 tones landfill was designed of area (70 x 15) m~2 . Safety precautions have been taken to satisfy the rules and acts of ministry of environment and forest and environmental protection agency in designing of landfill.
