We intend to present the partial issues resulted during the development of the Projectwith the acromin: PwD Employ ”Personal Learning Environment for the EfficientRecruitment of People with Disabilities”. The Progress of this project is revealed by theevery partner team country partial results like: The National Context Analyses, The GoodPractices in the disabilities persons recruitment, The Personal Learning EnvironmentAnalysis and Identification of Good Practices for the Efficient Recruitment of People withDisabilities. PwD Employ is a Leonado da Vinci Transfer of Innovation projectapproved in 2008 through the European Commission (DG Education and Culture)Lifelong Learning Programme. The project builds on the previous the IMMI TRAIN project(Leonardo da Vinci pilot project – PT/05/B/F/PPP-159155) focused in the integration ofthe migrants in the labour market. The European partnership aims to gather people andorganisations who are responsible for the recruitment of the people with physicaldisabilities: human resource managers, recruitment companies and trainers specialised inhuman resource management. Next to the Promoter Associacio Balear d’EsclerosiMultiple ABDEM- (Palma de Mallorca) Spain and Coordinator XXI INVESLAN, S.L. –(Bilbao) Spain, there are other 5 Partners from other 5 different UE 27 countries,including: Pontydysgu Ltd. United Kingdom, Institutul National de Cercetare stiintifica ?nDomeniul Muncii si Protectiei Sociale – INCSMPS /National Institute of ScientificResearch and Social Protection – Romania, Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovacao -Consultadoria Empresarial e Fomento da Inovacao, S.A. – Portugal, Informacijas sistemumenedzmenta augstskola - Information Systems Management Institute (Riga) Latvia,P&W Praxis und Wissenschaft Projekt Gmbh Am Bachl 30, (Ingolstadt) Germany. Themain objective of the PwD Employ project is to favour the recruitment of people withdisabilities, contributing to facilitate their professional and personal development throughthe training of the collectives who work in the field of the human resources management.The main result of the project will be the development of a Personal LearningEnvironment PEV: a training resource based on technologies web 2.0, which will allowtarget group to manage and monitor their own training. The people who are responsiblefor the recruitment of the people with physical disabilities (human resource managers,trainers specialised in human resource management) will be the main beneficiaries of thisPEV. This PEV will allow them to improve their knowledge, raise the awareness andchange their attitudes for recruitment of people with disabilities in view to improvebusiness management in relation to the participation and integration of this people in thelabour market as a consequence of the efficient recruitment they will develop. Also, thespecial PEV is designed to support companies, organisations who are responsible for therecruitment of the people with physical disabilities (recruitment companies) in providingequal opportunities for employment in view to promote the integration of target people inthe labour market through increasing their employment rate. In this paper we intend tooffer the sketch of the Romanian context and Good Practices example for the PersonalLearning Environment for the Efficient Recruitment of people with Disabilities.
