In this work, it is reported the experience of a group of teachers who are using differentactivities to complement lectures in several Telecommunication engineering subjects.The activities have been designed to promote an active learning and to get students moreinvolved in daily classes. They are based on reinforcing subject learning, but also onincreasing student motivation and strengthening fundamental transverse competences.At the end, conclusions are drawn regarding several aspects such as student satisfaction,student and teacher time consuming due to activities, the most valuable activities forstudents or whether activity marks are according to the work to be done.
