In order to conduct environmental assessments of CO{sub}2 sequestration in deep-seas, the effects of high- concentration CO{sub}2 on marine organisms is one of the most important factors prior to CO{sub}2 sequestration practice. One-dimensional ecosystem model was developed to simulate the ecosystem in a deep-sea of more than 1,500 m depth, which corresponds to the dissolution depth for CO{sub}2 ocean sequestration. Here we discuss the numerical results of CO{sub}2 impacts on biological communities using the ecosystem model developed.
