In the process of calculating punching shear strength with the design code of concrete structure(GB 50010—2002), the influence of reinforcement ratio hasn't been taken into account. This paper ascertains the feasibility of finite element simulation through the comparison of experimental value and analogue value, and discusses the ultimate bearing capacity and failure mechanism in different reinforcement ratios. The conclusion shows that the curvefitting of BS8110 is far more excellent than others. Taking BS8110 as reference, and it's preferable with explicit formula instead of implicit formula.
