Two types of axial flow fans are analyzed with commercial cfd code. Flow noise andcharactristics by flow rate and pressure difference are compared with test data. In the analysis,two different conditions are used for flow rate and noise. The two fan show very different flowdistributuions and flow noises. The differences are reviewed in detail in the paper usinganalysis of distribution of flow, pressure, and noise. These show the way to improve the flowrate and noise for axial flow fan.
