In this study, a numerical computation of gas-liquid interfacial flows was performedby using a Level Set (LS) method for various applications. The free surface motion from initialdisturbed surface and drop motion on an inclined wall due to the gravity were computed for theverification of the simulation with a LS method. The binary drop collision was also simulatedin the present study. After the drop collision, the behavior of drop and formation of satellitedrop were obtained. Furthermore, an impact of a drop on a liquid film/pool was simulated. From the results, the crown formation and bubble entrapment were successfully observed. Thepresent numerical results showed a good agreement with the theoretical and availableexperimental data, and hence, the LS method for interface tracking can be applied to variousflow problems with sharp gas-liquid interfaces.
