According to the Moscow Burn Centre data, two thirds of 800-900 annually admitted patients have the II degree burns (partial thickness burns), involving more than 20% TBS A in one third of them. It is known that the spontaneous healing of the II degree burns takes 20-22 days and proceeds mainly by hypertrophic scar formation. Epidermis regeneration is achieved due to the activation, migration, and proliferation of keratinocytes both from surrounding epidermis (marginal epithelialization), and from the skin appendages (focal epithelialization) [3]. Burn wound dermal matrix denaturated by the heat exposure does not provide a directed motion of the keratinocytes to the affected zone. Reconstruction of the derma collagen net is ensured by firbroblasts, their necessary concentration in the affected zone being achieved slowly [1]. Previously it was shown that the fibroblast grafting significantly increased the epithelialization of the burn wound; however, the results of different studies vary depending on the methods and timing of fibroblast applications.
