We present statistical properties of the transient horizontal mag- netic field (THMF) observed by the spectropolarimeter (SP) aboard Hinod& The topics to be reported here include (1) locations of their appearance and disappearance in terms of granular structure, (2) size and lifetime distributio (3) spatial relationship between vertical and horizontal magnetic fields, (4) imuth orientation of the horizontal field vector, (5) PDF (probability distributior function) of the intrinsic magnetic field strength. An extensive statistical surve reveals numbers of so far unknown unique and remarkable properties of THMFs leading us to conclude that a local dynamo processes is responsible for THMFs.
