The leakage of hazardous substances will not only cause serious loss of life and property, but also have great impact on society in chemical accidents. Based on the leaking forms, the leaking sources may be divided into instantaneous and continuous ones. The models of the leakage and gaseous diffusion have been analyzed in this paper. The toxic gas concentrations and risky zones have been estimated according to difference distance from the leaking source. The method for determining the risky area is put forward. It could be taken as a theoretical guidance to determine the risky area on time and implement the rescue efficiently.
