Lichen nitidus is a rare cutaneous eruption composed of multiple, tiny, dome-shaped papules. The majority of instances appear in children and young adults as asymptomatic, localized form. In addition to localized form, vesicular and hemorrhagic, palmoplantar, perforating, spinous follicular, actinic, linear and generalized variants of lichen nitidus have been described to be quite rare. We describe a young patient with a 10- year history of unremitting generalized lichen nitidus.
