摘要

Notch-shaped coupon tensile experiments and DIC strain measurement techniques have been conducted to evaluate the pre-tension effects on edge fracture thinning limit for Aluminum AA6020-T43 (1.0mm) sheets (one loading case). Strain instability/localization method is used in DIC Determination on edge fracture strain limit: Pre-tension does not affect the edge fracture limit - ref. to the notched coupon thickness Suggested Formality Criterion: (1) For edge on product: Edge thinning strain below the Edge Fracture Limit line and FLC; (2) For edge on addendum: Thinning strain below the Edge Fracture Limit line.
