摘要

An attempt was made to prepare the SiO_2/cenosphere composite, for which a dense layer of SiO_2 particles were successfully coated on the surface of cenospheres by chemical precipitation technique. Surface morphology was observed under SEM, and the exterior constitution was examined through EDX. The result indicated that the amount of SiO_2 particles coating on cenospheres decreased with the increasing pH value and the declining reaction temperature, and the particle size reduced as reaction temperature fell down.
