摘要

A new particle swarm optimization algorithm with modified velocity equation is proposed. In this paper, the velocity equation of particle swarm optimization is modified to enhance global search ability of basic particle swarm optimization. Numerical experiments on ten classical test functions show that the new algorithm has better performance than the basic particle swarm optimization algorithm in computational time, global optimization and computational accuracy.
