Land Reclamation Suitability Evaluation is the basis to properly implement land reclamation, and to develop a practical land reclamation project. In this study, we've given full account to the drawbacks of the Limit Method, and precisely divided the evaluation units, to make Limit Method evaluation more accurate. We've put this method in practice, and obtained more scientific evaluation results. Mining-damaged land reclamation suitability evaluation is based on the natural properties and damage conditions of the land, with socio-economic factors as background conditions, to assess the suitability and limits of future land reclamation for agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, sideline production, fisheries, construction and other uses. Clear reclamation suitability evaluation can specify future land use, and provide the basis for land reclamation work. The evaluation is based on the investigation and prediction of the damaged land. It selects the influencing factors, determines the value of the factor indicators and the weights of various factors, assesses the most suitable reclamation and utilization direction for the damaged land, and then builds the best land reclamation mode. Land reclamation suitability evaluation is aimed to determine the direction and standards of reclamation, and to guide the land reclamation project design.
