This paper discussed two types of traditional pressurization system on cotton lap of roll machine—mechanical and pneumatic, analysed their working principle, put forward a new design concept, with compact structure, based on the electro-hydraulic proportional control technology andtested with experiments. The results showed its effective function to control pressure stably.
