摘要

This study is based on the principles of the landscape ecology and it focuses on the wetland landscape planning with the application of the GIS-based eco-suitability analysis. There are four main procedures: (i) selecting one ecological factor that influences the eco-suitability of the Yancheng Wetland Nature Reserve for Rare Birds; (ii) conducting a single-factorial evaluation; (iii) conducting an overlay analysis with the AHP method; (iv) proposing zoning of function and strategies for landscape planning by applying the GIS-based eco-suitability analysis. This study aims to provide evidence for the wetland landscape planning and contribute to the development of wetland landscape planning theory as well.
