The paper describes the problems associated with digital exclusion and digital divide. It deals with social contexts and challenges posed by digital illiteracy. It focuses on the possibilities of increasing digital illiteracy, especially among socially excluded members of society. In this context, it provides an example of a training course of increasing digital illiteracy of the Romany in the Czech Republic.
