As online shopping moves toward being commoditized and reaches its maturity stage, e-retailers should add features to differentiate their sites from competition. Experiential marketing is an effective tool for businesses to achieve competitive advantage, avoid the commodity trap, and survive in the price war (Pine and Gilmore 1999). This work describes how e-retailers can enhance customers' patronage intentions through of fering experiential values.
