The effect of different composition of refining slag on absorption rate of Al_2O_3 has been tested by experimental method in the CaO-SiO_2-Al_2O_3-MgO-CaF_2-FeO-MnO-P_2O_5 refining slag. The result shows: under specified condition, CaO/Al_2O_3 between 1.4 and 1.7, the slag has higher absorption rate of Al_2O_3, The absorption rate of Al_2O_3 raised with the increase of the content of CaF_2 when the content of CaF_2 less than 8%; the absorption rate of Al_2O_3 increased with the increase of the CaO/SiO_2 when the CaO/SiO_2 less than 3.5; the maximum absorption rate of Al_2O_3 is 0.0226 g·cm~(-2)·min~(-1) when CaO/SiO_2=3.48, MI=0.124.
