Aiming at the calculation problem of sheet metal structure workpiece, this paper comes up with a CAGD graphical method based on the graphics software MasterCAM, so as to simplify the traditional lofting job and promote the efficiency. The expanded graph is precise enough to avoid the extra machining. Since the graphical method is endowed with great universality and pragmatic value, it can be widely used in engineering applications.
