Based on the finite element analysis software, this paper innovatively proposes a multi-DOF deflection type PM motor with "6-8" rotor-stator structure and builds its finite element model. Furthermore, the distribution of the magnetic field of this motor are analyzed and calculated. To obtain better performance, the motor's structure is optimized and designed with response surface methodology (RSM). Results of the proposed structure configuration are analyzed and compared with the initial model. It is expected that this research can be helpful to the multi-DOF motor or actuator technology study and improvements.
