Errors appear when the Shannon sampling series is applied to approximate a signal in practice since the measured sampled values are usually given by averages of a function or the sampled values with amplitude error and time-jitter error. In this paper we give a survey of recent progress of the study of error analysis multi-dimensional Whittaker-Shannon sampling expansion approximations with these measured values.
