摘要

The social assistance measures from Romania during post-December 1989 period focused on children's and family problems because the communism perspective did not allow the allocation of importance of real needs of this category of population.The premise we start from is that transition from Romania after 2000 it was a generated factor for recognition and acceptance of importance of children's right as a chance for a better life. The objective of our investigating consisted in highlighting the correlation between Romanian social context after 2000 period and favorable changes and transformations in social protection of children's and family based on the identification, accession and respect of children's rights in Romania. The methodology used in the applied research was the document analysis of two NGO from Jiu Valley from Hunedoara county and organisational and individual case study.
