In this paper the focus will be to estimate and evaluate the measures and metrics of Social Network Analysis (SNA) and network trust and provenance in order to achieve better recommendations. Since, each of these fields are usually treated separately, the aim is to merge and correlate Social Network Analysis metrics and network provenance in order to develop and enhance the baselines of certain Recommender System (RS). A thorough background research has been conducted in order to distinguish the main components of each field separately, followed by the methodology that is in intention to be our main approach. At the end, we will have an evaluation overview of one RS, with a detailed explanation on the metrics that have to be added in order to improve the desired recommendation at the end.
