The universities' fixed assets has the characteristics of large amount and wide range of use, which lead to difficulty and intricacy of the assets management, so the original manual, stand-alone model cannot satisfy the needs of modern assets management any more. The automatic identification and related technologies can aid in the configuration of an RFID-based fixed assets management platform in universities, by providing the broadest range of solutions to track the assets in an intelligent and dynamic way, eliminating the traditional information lag, distortion, and discrepancies, etc., thus improving management efficiency and level.
