摘要

The R&D project worth about $1 billion is planned to reduce landslides and sediment disaster in Korea.Planning and researches are currently under progress for establishing the master plan for the project.To establish long-term plans, both domestic and overseas trends in policies, technologies, society, economy, and other areas are analyzed while request for technology from related fields including public organizations and private enterprises were taken into consideration.For the present, specific promotional body is being set up by selecting priority areas for promotion.This master plan will be completed in 2014 and the project will be promoted in 20l5 based on the master plan.
