摘要

Challenges of the 21st century in solving economic problems needs to be transformed. Myriads issues like economic turmoil, fast changing technological advances and many more needs refined changes. The role of research in combating this national challenge cannot be limited to policies from research institute and academic community, thus the need for this work. The main problem of these 21st researcher is to hone her professional skills such as critical thinking, communication skills, problem-solving skills, deep learning and collaborating with multidisciplinary team. In the light of this growing concern and improvement, there is a look at the role of past and present impactful research in scaling national growth and development. The focus of this report is to weigh in on problems limiting the growth of research to solve national economic problems and proffering healthy solutions.
