The need for quick and flexible balancing of fluctuating renewable power generation, stricter emissions legislation and the widespread availability of fuel gas are the top drivers in pushing gas engine based power generation into an increasingly important role. The permanent global increase of renewable power generation adds operational and commercial challenges to the life of power producers.
